Raman Bahl

Raman is an Indian Social Entrepreneur with a background in engineering. He embarked on his journey in education by volunteering at a blind school, eventually joining the Teach For India Fellowship in 2012. At just 23 years old, Raman became a school principal and witnessed significant growth in student enrollment. However, he also encountered children who did not enroll or dropped out of school, prompting him to question the ability of formal education to meet the needs of all children.

In 2018, he led a project in Haryana, working with 2000 children of migrant construction workers, which was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience inspired Raman to make the bold decision to establish LIFI in the midst of the pandemic in July 2020.
